Project Overview
Management at Cottrell Park required a hard‑wearing, attractive flooring solution for a busy commercial space. They sought the look of natural wood with the resilience and easy maintenance of modern materials. LNC Floor Coverings recommended luxury vinyl tiles and scheduled the installation to minimise operational disruption.
Scope of Work
Delivering a successful LVT installation involves meticulous preparation followed by precise fitting. Our team completed the following stages over two days.
Old flooring removal
Existing floor coverings were carefully uplifted and disposed of, ensuring the subfloor was exposed without damage.
Subfloor preparation & drying
The subfloor was levelled, primed and allowed to dry overnight to guarantee a firm base for the new LVT. Proper preparation is essential to prevent future movement or imperfections.
LVT installation
We supplied and installed high‑quality LVT planks in the selected design. Tiles were bonded securely using manufacturer‑approved adhesive, with precise cuts around fixtures and edges.
Finishing & quality control
The following day we inspected the installation, cleaned the surface and ensured all transitions and trims were securely in place. A final walk‑through with the client confirmed their satisfaction.
